WELCOME TO JOSIAH'S PORTFOLIO

Hi, my name is Josiah Brooks. I was born in Paterson, New Jersey, but then moved to Athens, Georgia, when I was six years old, when my father received a Worship Pastor position. I had the privilege of being a collegiate athlete for four years at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee, where I received my bachelor's in Management Information Systems. After college, I accepted a Children's Pastor Role at Restoration Church, and I have served there for six years. During my second year, I met my beautiful wife, Mallory, and we have been married for almost 5 years. During this time, I have been attending Dallas Theological Seminary to obtain my ThM with an emphasis in Leadership Studies. I have been ordained with the International Ministerial Fellowship (IMF) for 3 years.
The purpose of this portfolio is to showcase opportunities, lessons, and experiences while serving at Restoration Church. This portfolio consists of artifacts that showcase lessons I've learned and my reflections on each. In this portfolio, you see my development in these four areas: Christian Leadership, Communication, and Cultural Engagement. The last page, the Ministry Distinctive, showcases my creativity, leadership, and teaching that I acquired during my time at Dallas Theological Seminary.
